the Czech international is confident he can continue to contribute towards Liverpool's title challenge. The young striker has already scored six times this term, and he believes there are more to come.

He says: "It is much better now than it was for me last season. I am playing, so I'm very happy with that. I can understand English now and even speak a little bit, so it's easier to fit in with the team.

"I'm happy to be getting the chance to play more often and I feel I've done well when I've got the chance.

"I knew I had to work hard in the summer to lose some kilos to give myself the chance to play more games. I worked hard to get into shape and improve my fitness. I now feel a lot sharper than last season and it's paid off.

"Now I want to play more and keep on improving. I'm still young, I have many things to learn and I can improve a lot more. I'll work hard to do that because I want to be the best player I can possibly be.

"As a striker it's always difficult to say what your targets are, but I think if I could score between 10 and 15 goals this season it would be fantastic."
