Liverpool are facing a defensive injury crisis ahead of this weekend's crucial Premier League match against Manchester United, with Trent Alexander-Arnold the latest player to be ruled out.
The 20-year-old suffered a foot injury in Liverpool's Champions League win over Napoli on Tuesday and was replaced by Dejan Lovren in the final minute.

The Liverpool Echo reports that Alexander-Arnold will miss Sunday's match against United and is unlikely to recover in time for the visit to Wolves next Friday.
With Joe Gomez ruled out for six weeks after suffering a lower leg fracture against Burnley and Nathaniel Clyne still on the road to recovery, James Milner is expected to deputise at right back, as he did against Bournemouth last weekend.
Tuesday's victory came at a cost for Liverpool as Alexander-Arnold was not the only player to be injured. Joel Matip also suffered a fractured collarbone after Kalidou Koulibaly landed on him following an aerial challenge in stoppage time.
Lovren, whose late appearance on Tuesday was his first since recovering from a concussion, is now the only senior centre back available to start alongside Virgil van Dijk on Sunday.
