Most stories have linked Mourinho with Chelsea but others have him linked with Liverpool, saying he has already spoken to someone at the club, a rumour Rick Parry denies.
Liverpool Chief Executive Rick Parry said: "Contrary to press reports, Liverpool have not made any approach or offer to Porto coach Jose Mourinho. The story is simply not true."
