Sebastian Coates has joined Sunderland on a season-long loan. Oussama Assaidi has returned to Stoke City for a season-long loan (plus a £1m fee).
Fabio Borini remains at Liverpool after a loan move to Sunderland was ruled out following Coates' switch, and a potential £10-13million move to QPR fell through.
