Lampard apologises to Alonso

Lampard broke Alonso's ankle in a nasty challenge that even Mike Riley was unable to turn a blind eye to.

Lampard said: "I'm disappointed because Alonso broke his ankle which is just horrible. I didn't mean to do that at all and I apologise to the player and hope he will back soon."
