Liverpool have finally 'publicly' announced that Jari Litmanen is available on a free transfer.

Kop Talk and in particular 'The Insider' revealed months ago that his Anfield career was doomed and despite previous interest from Newcastle, nobody as yet has made a formal approach for his services.
