In a historic shift for English football finance, the latest Deloitte Football Money League report released today reveals that Liverpool has usurped Manchester United as the Premier League’s highest-earning club for the first time.
Propelled by last season’s title success, the Reds generated €836m in revenue. Manchester United fell to their lowest position in the report’s history, ranking fourth among English clubs behind Manchester City and Arsenal, but well behind Real Madrid who raked in €1.16B.
