"You have to adapt a little bit. I think since joining Liverpool, as a player in general I've had to adapt a lot," he told the official site.
"I make myself versatile by playing in different positions, so I certainly see it as a good thing and really enjoyed playing that role in the diamond formation.
"I'm not used to taking care of opposition full-backs; it's not really been something I'm used to doing, but I've enjoyed gaining the experience of playing in that position and the chance to get involved further up the pitch as well, playing my part in creating chances."
"I'm feeling good. Fitness-wise, I've been feeling match fit for a while now, so it's all been good.
"In terms of starting games, it's always great, but to be a starter in winning performances is what you strive to do. It's been a great time."
