Anderlecht face competition from Twente, Ajax and Feyenoord for the 24-year-old Moroccan winger, but coach John van den Brom wants to move quickly.
"Assaidi is a concrete target", Van den Brom told Belgian paper Het Nieuwsblad. "I know him very well and also spoke with him already.
"I know he prefers a transfer to Anderlecht over a return to the Netherlands.
"What are the conditions for him coming and whether it is a loan or final purchase ? If we wait too long, we may risk missing out on him."
