Carroll to reject Hammers move

The Hammers have made a £15m bid for the on-loan striker, but it soon became apparent that he wasn't keen on a permanent switch to Upton Park.

Goal are now reporting that he is determined to prove himself at Liverpool, although it is also possible that he is holding out for a bid from his former club Newcastle United.

"Things haven't worked out for Andy at Liverpool but he went there with high hopes and isn't ready to throw in the towel just yet," they quote a source close to the player.

"He enjoyed his time with West Ham but feels he has unfinished business at Anfield."
