The award, powered by the football platform 90min comes following Coutinho’s great form for Liverpool in the last month in which he scored two goals to help them remain in contention for a top four place in the Barclays Premier League.
Coutinho was part of the team that drew at Everton at the start of the month and then he helped Liverpool to a 3-2 victory against Tottenham.
The Brazilian also helped the Reds overcome Crystal Palace in the FA Cup 5th round to set up a tie against Blackburn Rovers. He followed this up with a man of the match performance against high flying Southampton, scoring the opening goal in a 2-0 victory at St Mary’s.
Last weekend Coutinho scored the winning goal as Liverpool beat champions Manchester City 2-1 at Anfield.
The PFA Fans’ Player of the Month awards are designed to give a strong voice to the supporters who are the lifeblood of the game. The awards are endorsed by the players and supported by the clubs.
One lucky fan voter will be chosen to present Coutinho with the award in person later this month.
