“Daniel is doing well and is out on the field doing some work,” said the Liverpool boss.
“He should hopefully be back training at some point next week and will have a chance for the derby.”
However, Jon Flanagan is less fortunate. The 21-year-old defender has had knee surgery and is now ruled out for up to two months.
