"Liverpool play a good tempo, they've got a lot of confidence about them at the minute," he told LFC TV.
"I was at the Bolton game which was probably their worst performance of the season but since then they've kicked on and it just shows how good they are that they've beat Man United, Man City, got a good result at Wolves and they're starting to gel.
"You've got to say that they're serious contenders to get the fourth spot along with Arsenal and Chelsea. Tonight will be a very good game."
