"It was a hard-fought point for us," he said after the match. "We started really well. Early doors the pitch was in good nick but got worse for both sides later on.
"It was a difficult game, they played well like they did on Saturday against Chelsea, so its a hard-fought draw.
"They had a few efforts at goal in the second half, but we had most possession and had a few chancs ourselves.
"You feel for the players because they don't take the chances they are creating and they work really hard to get there, so we'll just keep on.
"We're not unhappy with the performance. Maybe some aspects you could go and look at things we could improve on, but I don't think we could be unhappy with the performance from our players, they gave us everything.
"Even at the end they charged forward to get the winner. We just need to be more professional when we are pressing forward."
