This fixture promises an electric atmosphere as both teams get ready for the upcoming season and the possibility of meeting again in the Champions League.”
The Reds and BVB together have over 200 years of football history between them. Last season both teams finished second in their respective top-flight leagues and Dortmund holds a special place in the hearts of Liverpool fans since Signal Iduna Park recently came alive to the sound of 80,000 fans passionately singing You'll Never Walk Alone to mark the 25th anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster, an anthem that Borussia fans are known to sing at their home games.
