Liverpool FC travel to Denmark for pre-season friendly

The two sides will kick-off at 6pm local time on Wednesday 16th July at the home of the Danish Superliga club, Brondby Stadion.

 Liverpool FC and Brondby have previously only met three times with the last clash being almost ten years ago in the 1995/96 Europa League.

 The Reds have a large following across Denmark, with over 80,000 Danish fans following the Club’s official Facebook account. Liverpool FC vice-captain and captain of the Denmark international team, Daniel Agger, transferred from Brondby to LFC in the 2006-07 season and has helped build the profile of the Reds across his homeland.

The Reds will kick-off their pre-season campaign in Denmark, which will be followed by the below fixtures:

  • Saturday 19 July – Preston North End v LFC – KO 3pm, Deepdale

 

  • Wednesday 23 July – LFC v AS Roma – KO 7.30pm EST, Fenway Park, Boston

 

  • Sunday 27 July – LFC v Olympiacos – KO 5pm CST, Soldier Field, Chicago

 

  • Wednesday 30 July – Manchester City v LFC – KO 7pm EST, Yankee Stadium, New York

 

  • Saturday 2 August – LFC v AC Milan City – KO 6.30pm EST, Bank of America Stadium, Charlotte

 

  • Sunday 10 August – LFC v Borussia Dortmund – KO 12.15pm, Anfield
