Liverpool are one of the clubs being linked with the 23-year-old right-back, with Glen Johnson looking to move on in the near future.
"Montoya will 100% leave Barcelona in the winter window," Montoya's agent Dios Carrasco said.
"Right now we just want to find the best club for Martin, so he can continue his progression. Germany, Italy and England all have clubs that are already pulling strings to sign him."
