Liverpool v Oldham - Played for both clubs

Reg Blore - Made only one appearance for Liverpool as a 17-year-old in 1959. Played 181 times for Oldham from 1965-1970.

Kenn Brierley - Played over 50 times for Oldham before joining Liverpool in 1948. The outside-left scored 8 times in 61 games for the Reds before returning to the Latics.

David Fairclough - Nicknamed 'Supersub' because of the winger's ability to change a game when coming on from the bench, Fairclough scored 34 goals in 98 games for Liverpool from 1974-1983 before leaving for Toronto. He scored once in 17 appearances for Oldham from 1985-1986.

Bruce Grobbelaar - Liverpool's unorthodox keeper from 1981-1994, making 628 appearances. Had a brief four-game spell with Oldham in 1997-1998.

Tony Hately - Signed from Chelsea by Bill Shankly, the striker scored 28 goals in 56 appearances from 1967-1968 before moving onto Coventry. He later played for Oldham from 1973-1974, scoring once in five games.

Fred Howe - Striker who played for Liverpool from 1935-1938, scoring 36 goals in 89 games. He ended his career at Oldham, scoring 20 times in 30 games from 1946-1947.

Hugh Lester - An outside-left who played twice for Liverpool in 1911 before moving to Oldham in 1913 and playing once for the Latics.

Billy Molyneux - Reserve keeper behind the great Tommy Lawrence, Molyneux played once for the Reds in 1964. He played eight times for Oldham from 1968-1969.

John Morrissey - Outside-left who came through the ranks at Liverpool and played 37 times for the club, scoring six times from 1957 to 1962, before joining Everton. He ended his career at Oldham from 1972-1973, scoring once.

Tom Reid - Scottish forward who scored 30 times in 55 games for Liverpool from 1926 to 1929. He left Liverpool for Man Utd and was loaned out to Oldham in 1933 before singing for them permanently in 1933.

Miki Roque - One of the young Spanish players signed by Rafa Benitez, Roque was at Liverpool from 2005 to 2009, but made only one sub appearance for the club and was loaned out to Oldham in 2007 where he played four games.
