"It's still four or five weeks to the start of our Europa League campaign so its too early to say if I'll be ready, but I'm looking forward to the start of the season," said the Braziian midfielder.
"I just have to be patient again, so looking forward to seeing the players coming back from the Euros and everybody is really excited for the new season.
"I've been able to train with the team for a few days but there's still a long way to go and a lot of work to be done, but I'm very happy to be able to train and looking forward to the new season."
