The Belgian striker was on the field for less than 10 minutes before scoring the opening goal in the International Champions Cup game in Santa Clara.
“I’m very happy to be back on the pitch,” he said after the game. “I can feel the confidence from everyone and I can just improve and enjoy my game.
"Year by year I’m learning and I’m still young so the most important thing is to make steps and last year I had some good moments, so I try to learn and become more consistent to help the team even more and become an important player for the team.
"We work a lot technically, but everybody is smiling and has a good attitude, so that is the most important thing."
