Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has given Cole a few chances to show what he can do in recent weeks, but it is still believed that he will leave Liverpool, ideall on a permanent transfer, whene the transfer window reopens.
"I've always liked Joe. I signed him for West Ham at 11 years old so no-one knows more about him than me," said Redknapp.
"I still think he's got talent and there's a top player there, but I've made no enquiry about Joe. I've had no contact with his agent or anyone."
