The son of former Liverpool midfielder and Tangerines boss Paul Ince has been on Brendan Rodgers' wanted list for some time and it was believed that he may finally complete his move to Anfield at the end of the season.
However, Spurs could well snatch the player from Rodgers' grasp if an early offer is accepted by Blackpool chief Karl Oyston.
