With Balotelli shooting blanks, Daniel Sturridge on the sick and Brendan Rodgers scratching his head, it's pretty clear that Liverpool are now in desperate need of a new striker in January.
Liverpool legend and Sky Sports pundit Jasmie Carragher believes Swansea City frontman Wilfried Bony is the man to solve the problem.
"I hope Liverpool sign him," he said. "If Liverpool sign Balotelli for £16m, Bony is worth £20m or £25m.
"I wish Liverpool got him this summer and I hope they're looking at him in the future."
