With Victor Valdes announcing that he is to remain with the Spanish giants for another season it was believed that Reina would stay at Liverpool too, despite the arrival of Simon Mignolet.
But the Daily Star are reporting that 'sources in Spain suggest Reina is "a serious candidate to sign for Barcelona in the coming days" and that the La Liga champions will resume talks with Liverpool this week.'
