Rodgers disappointed with concentration levels

"I thought we were very, very good in the first half and the problems we had in the first 15-20 minutes of the second half has been with us from the beginning of the season, where we lose concentration and become lazy and all of a sudden we find oursleves 3-1 down," admitted the Liverpool boss.

"We injected quality and energy into the game in the last 20 minutes or so and that's the level they've been at recently.

"After such a good first half controlling and domination, to then give away such poor goals at the beginning of the second half and then we are chasing the game at 3-1.

"The team worked well in the first half and that last few minutes of the second half, but we can't have to score three, four, five goals to win games. That's what we need to work really hard on.

"Some of our quality and domination is very good but we concede goals to easy and that's something we need to improve on.

"For us its qualification we're looking for but its also an opportunity to play some of the younger players, and some of the younger players who have played in the rounds before have worked their way into the first team."
