As we reported earlier today, Liverpool and Swansea agreed a fee, believed to be £6m for the 21-year-old midfielder, and he was on his way down to complete the deal.
He played 69 times for the Reds since joining from Charlton Athletic for £1.7m in 2010, but lost his place in Brendan Rodgers' first team during the second half of last season.
