"I thought the Liverpool fans were superb today," he said. "Like they were in midweek, they never let us down.
"It's a big game and they played their part today. They pushed us through.
"I think they realised we were vey tire from midweek but when they are pushing they suck goals in and I think they sucked Dirk's goal in today, so credit to the fans aswell."
