Reports in Italy are suggesting that the he will go on loan to the Serie A club with a €10million option to buy next summer.
The Slovakian defender lost his place in the first team to Jamie Carragher last season and has since been linked with moves away from the club, most notably to former club Spartak Moscow.
But rumours of a possible loan move to Napoli have been circulating for several weeks now and this is looking more and more likely.
