The Liverpool striker came on as a second-half substitute alongside Jamie Vardy to pull back a 1-0 half-time deficit.

The result puts England top of their group table going into the final game with Slovakia.

"It’s crazy," he said after the final whistle. "There’s only one more game in the group so I’m not getting too excited but it’s unbelievable.
