The Chelsea striker has been Brendan Rodgers' number one target fo the January transfer window as Liverpool look to bring in a much-needed goalscorer.
Although they can't officially register the player until 2nd January, it is good to see the club making an early move rather than waiting until the end of the transfer window, which is what caused the striker shortage in the summer.
