"It was obviously a great quality of penalties. Both teams showed great composure", said the Liverpool boss after the thrilling penalty shootout win.
"We're very happy to get through. At the moment we're making too many mistakes, but I can't fault the character of the players.
"We had to step up to get to the next round by winning on penalties, but it is great for us to get through and it was a great night for our young players."
