"It was fantastic," he said after the game. "We knew we had to come here and put in a good performance and get a good result, and thankfully we did that.
"I thought we played unbelievable."
The midfielder scored Liverpool's second on the day and was delighted to get onto the scoresheet.
"I've had some chances in games and not scored, so I've been disappointed with that," he added. "But to get one and put in a good performance is fantastic.
"Now we need to keep it going.Next week we've got a big game against Cardiff and we need to focus on that one."
