Road Travel

Road travel has been assessed from the team’s home ground to their allocated official car park at WNSL.

Vehicles using satellite navigation systems may be directed via Harrow Road to access their dedicated car park. Please be aware that Transport for London advises spectators do not to use this route to reduce congestion and queues in the area.

These recommended routes are monitored by the London Streets Traffic Control Centre on Event Day and use of them will result in reduced congestion and queues in the area.

Liverpool (East End)

Liverpool have been allocated the Green Car Park (GCP) on the east side of WNSL. Journey time by car will be approximately 3 hours 45 minutes if there is free flowing traffic.

The most direct route is the M62 to the M6, M6 to the M1, M1 to the A406 North Circular Road, A406 North Circular Road to Drury Way, Drury Way to Great Central Way and Great Central Way to Green Car Park.

Train Travel

Train travel has been assessed based on the National Rail Station closest to the team’s home ground.

Wembley National Stadium Travel Recommendations

Wembley National Stadium is a public transport destination. The venue is served by three gateway stations:

  • Wembley Park – under 10 minutes by foot and served by London Underground’s Jubilee and Metropolitan Lines

  • Wembley Stadium Station – under 10 minutes by foot and served by Chiltern Railways

  • Wembley Central Station – 15 minutes by foot and served by London Underground’s Bakerloo Line, London Overground, London Midlands and Southern Railways

All journeys by Liverpool and Aston Villa fans can be undertaken by public transport in the event that the match goes to extra time and penalties.

For more information on booking parking in the Official Car Parks, please visit http://www.wembleyofficialparking.com/

Should GCP be fully booked, vehicles parked in GCP should consider the alternative route southbound on the A406 North Circular Road, followed by the A40 westbound, and followed by the M40 or M25. This will avoid traffic on Great Central Way. WNSL can provide additional information on the build up to the event.
