Chelsea appear to have given up on the striekr they bought from Liverpool 12 months ago for a staggering £50m and are keen to offload him in January, according to reports.
It's highly unlikely the Spanish striker would return to Anfield after he burned his bridges last year, but stranger things have happened in football.
