EXCLUSIVE: Kennedy confident of Reds victory

This is going to be a big game for both clubs. Marseille have a pretty decent team in their own right and I think they'll try to take the heat out of the game.

They'll look at the game and think if we don't concede we are halfway there and that could backfire on them.

Their record isn't that great of late - they lost 4-1 to Bastia at the weekend, but Liverpool have been playing well in Europe.

Liverpool have to score and take the game to Marseille. I think we'll win, although there won't be a lot of goals and it will be a nervous approach by both teams.

The crowd can play a big part. Gerard likes to give the fans reasons to shout and get behind the team and I'm certain it will be a great atmosphere.
