Fernando Torres - I want to keep breaking Liverpool records

Torres broke the record with his 93rd-minute winner at Aston Villa on Dec 29.

"All those who've played here are top players who have massive records.

"I am ahead of them on this one now and it is one of the most important things I've done in my career.

"But I want to keep breaking these records so I am always in the books and in the memories of the people. I am just doing my job."

This season Torres has managed an impressive 12 goals in 14 Premier League starts and the 25-year-old is determined to keep hitting the back of the net, and stay injurt free, as Liverpool push for a top four finish.

He said: "I want as many goals as we need to get fourth spot in the Premier League and to win the FA Cup.

"I never say the number of goals I'm after but I always like to score more than the season before.

"Hopefully, that won't be difficult because I got 17 last season."
