Liverpool will face Atletico Madrid in the final of the Audi Cup as they continue their unbeaten run this pre season. Magic Man Mané ran the show in the first half, sealing the German giants fate early on and goals from Salah and Sturridge completed the blistering rout!

It didn't take long for Liverpool to make their mark in this highly contested fixture, six minutes in Firmino picked the pocket of Corentin Tolisso, the type of pressing that has earmarked him as Klopp’s preferred number nine, turned and funnelled the ball into the on running path of Sadio Mane, who calmly steered his shot past Ulreich.
Mané also had a hand in the second goal as Liverpool increased their lead on the 34th minute mark. On the edge of the area, the Senegalese international seemed destined to try his luck from distance, but he produced a wonderful piece of skill to feed Alberto Moreno, whose cross was parried, but only into the path of Mohamed Salah who added the second with a header from close range.
If you had any doubts about Liverpool’s ability going forward, you only have to look at Renato Sanches' rugby tackle on the 49th minute to erase those fears. The rash tackle on Firmino was the definition of the Bayern Munich midfielder clutching at straws.
It was bittersweet for Daniel Sturridge, he showed once again, his clinical ability in front of goal, the forward timed his run to perfection and delivered an impudent chip over the helpless Ulreich to seal Liverpool’s victory. But as soon as Sturridge hammered the final nail in Bayern Munich’s coffin, the all too familiar grimace appeared on the English international's face as he picked up yet another injury.
Another comprehensive victory for Klopp's men, with Mané still in his words "not a 100%" fit and with still time to add new additions to the squad before the start of the new campaign, the Reds are shaping up to be a real tough opposition to crack.
