Mid-Season Report

Last updated : 02 January 2008 By Joe Rimmer
The class has done well this semester. The boys have worked very hard and I believe that they should be given a lot of credit. They have not always performed so well on the European field trips, however a recent change in attitude must be commended. At home they have played very well and stayed in touch with richer schools such as Manchester, Chelsea and Arsenal.

Teacher - Rafael Benitez

Despite rumours of fallings out with the Head Teachers, Senor Benitez has helped the class develop nicely, and the addition of some of his international students has proved very successful. However, despite being a very intelligent man, we fear that Benitez sometimes fails to communicate his ideas to the class, leading to some poor results.

Top of the Class

Despite good shows from older members of the class such as Sami Hyypia, leading performances from new student Fernando Torres and a good semester for Steven Gerrard, we have decided to give this accolade to Javier Mascherano. Javier had problems at his old school but he is a quiet lad who works hard and always produces excellent work.

The Class Dunce

After early promise Momo Sissoko has not performed well this year. However, I am also concerned at the showing of John Arne Riise. John has an excellent record of attendance but I don't feel that he works hard enough and this is showing. I feel he may have become a little stale in this school and a change might be necessary.

The best individual performance against Liverpool

I would have to hand this to Cesc Fabregas. He performed well for his school Arsenal against the class recently, controlled the game and scored a fine goal. Cesc is showing maturity beyond his years and is developing good leadership qualities.
