Moon shines bright

In a recent interview with Sam May at SABC Sport (South African Broadcast Corporation), Moon stated to join the team he has supported since being a boy, would be his ultimate ambition.

The 19-year old South African striker, has followed in the footsteps of brother Bryce and father Patrick, and joined the ABSA Premiership side Maritzburg United, aged 17.

Brother Bryce, 29, has played in Europe, making 32 appearances for Irish side Coleraine, and featured for Greek sides, Panathinaikos and PAOK.

Club Chairman Farook Kadodia, who had signed Ryan’s father, Patrick Moon, back in 1979, previously added: “Ryan has immense potential and he will surprise a lot of people. There was a lot of excitement about Bryce, but they will be even more excitement about Ryan.“

It’s recently been suggested that Klopp is looking to strengthen his striking options in the summer, which also suggests, there will be leavers.

Rumour has it that Liverpool have been scouting Moon. Maybe he could be the shining star.
