Quit the Houllier quit talk

If it's not Rodney Marsh it's Alan Brazil, venting their biased views on our club, players and manager.

It was not long ago that the knives were out for Michael Owen. If we'd have listened to them he would have been gathering dust on the subs bench, but instead Gerard Houllier, the man responsible for team selections, chose not to drop the young striker during his bad spell and was rewarded with a hat-trick against Man City.

There are now calls for Jerzy Dudek to be dropped from those who are paid to talk crap, yet as we all know from previous experience the best way for a player to overcome lack of confidence is to play through it.

The last straw for me has to be Talksport's Alan Brazil claiming that Gerard Houllier will retire at the end of the season and make way for David O'Leary. I suppose we should expect such bollocks from someone who is known to have a massive disliking for Liverpool Football Club, but when he refuses to disclose his source it stinks of scandal for the sake of publicity.

The fact that other Liverpool websites have picked up on the story for the sake of a few exta hits also sickens me, but I doubt they feel any more for the club than Mr. Brazil himself.
