Another day, another Mo Salah song!
Mohamed Salah, a gift from Allah
He came from Roma to Liverpool
He's always scoring
It's almost boring
So please don't take Mohamed away!
The 'Egyptian king' may not have scored in Liverpool's Champions League clash at Roma, but it didn't stop the travelling fans from penning another tune to sing from the terraces.
A reworking of the old Luis Garcia song is enough to give the Reds something to sing about as they prepare for a massive Champions League Final against Real Madrid in Kiev on 26th May.
It was a nervy night in Rome. Already 5-2 up from the first leg, it was important that Jurgen Klopp's men held firm and took their chances on the break. That's what they did, taking the lead early on through Sadio Mane to give Liverpool a bigger buffer that was beyond Roma's abilities to turn around, despite nailbiting moments during the last few minutes of the game.
Despite the home side finishing the match 4-2 winners, the Reds went through 7-6 on aggregate. They may not be favourites to lift the European Cup for the sixth time in their history, but nobody is going to write them off after the performances Salah and Co. have been putting in this season.
Good luck to the boys in Kiev!
