Bruno Cheyrou became Gerard Houllier's first signing of the summer 2002, bringing him in from French side Lille.
The older brother of Benoit, who also plays for Lille, Bruno is 24-years old this week, and had been with the French First Division club since 1997.
Since joining Liverpool he has found it difficult to adapt to the English game and spent the 2004/05 season on loan at Marseille, moving to Bordeaux on loan for the 2005/06 saeason, in the hope of securing a permanent move.
