After transferring to Liverpool a Dinamo spokesman said: "He was our most popular player, but he goes with our blessing. We know Liverpool are a very strong team, but he is so good and we think he is ready to go into it."
After completing his transfer on 8th December 2000 he made his debut against Ipswich Town two days later.
Biscan's future at the club was uncertain until he appeared as stand-in centre back while Stephane Henchoz was injured.
He has since been given regular opportunities in midfield under Rafael Benitez, but lacks the skill to command a regular first team place.
