Jordan Henderson signed for Liverpool in June 2017, winning his first trophy with the club, the League Cup, one year later. 

Appointed Liverpool captain in 2015, he won the UEFA Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup in 2019, and in 2020 the Premier League title.

In 2022, Henderson led Liverpool to victories in the FA Cup and the League Cup beating Chelsea on penalties in both finals.

On 27 July 2023, Henderson signed for Saudi Pro League club Al-Ettifaq for a reported transfer fee of £12 million
