Mark Gonzales joined Liverpool in July 2005 from Spanish Primera side Albacete, but was unable to obtain a work permit until 2006.
"This is very good news for us and I am absolutely delighted to welcome Mark González to Liverpool as he is a player the supporters will like to see," said manager Rafael Benitez at the time.
Despite a few impressive performances he failed to impress at Anfield and left for Real Betis in 2007.
