Henchoz passed the ball back to Dudek who had to clear it quickly. I think that Arsenal look the team on top at the moment. Carragher gave away a free kick on the edge of the box, which was taken and headed miles over the bar. Arsenal just had another chance, which just bounced off the bar.
Arsenal had a corner and they had two chances but the ball was then cleared. After a little bit of the ball being passed Liverpool got a throw near the goal but it just got cleared. Gerrard with a brilliant chance but it got cleared. Arsenal have given away a chance for us near the box which was cleared just passed the half way line the passed straight back up.
Arsenal took a free kick, which was cleared passed back in and cleared again. Murphy passed a ball in for Anelka who fell over in the penalty box but he didn’t get a penalty. Arsenal got another chance on goal but missed it. Arsenal had a brilliant chance with an open goal but the ball went passed the other post.
Gerrard passed a ball in and Murphy got fouled but he only gave corner, which was messed up. The ball keeps getting passed around then we had a chance on goal. Arsenal had a chance but put the ball way over the bar. Murphy has just given away a free kick on the edge of the box which came back out again as Liverpool got a chance but the ball went out for a goal kick.
Arsenal had a chance, which Berger headed back to Dudek. Liverpool took a free kick, which was just behind the half way line. The ball was headed out by Gerrard then out for a throw in. Owen had a chance but he was offside. Anelka went for a run but he passed the ball in front of him where nobody was there. Berger gave a free kick away just on our side of the half way line, which was just cleared.
The ball was being passed around by both of the teams. Liverpool got a good chance of the goal but it went out for a throw, which was headed about in the box, and then it was eventually cleared.

Liverpool keep getting chances but the ball keeps getting taken off them. Arsenal have brought the ball forward which was cleared out for a throw in and the ball came back in then got cleared again out for a throw, then it was cleared up the pitch. Gerrard went for a chance but he missed and the ball went out for a goal kick.
Arsenal are starting to pass the ball around a lot now and they are breaking down the defence until the ball was cleared then we had a chance but Vieira gave us a free kick which was taken by Berger and headed out by Hyypia for a goal kick. The goal kick was brought up the field and gave arsenal a chance but the ball got cleared.
Liverpool keep getting the ball and wasting it on long passes. Riise took the ball up passed a few players and the ball was flicked out for a throw, which ended up as a corner. The corner was taken and the ball was cleared out so far to Berger who sliced the ball miles over the goal. Arsenal with a chance with a lot of passing but the ball just came slowly to the keeper.
Bergkamp with a shot but the keeper collected the ball easily. Berger with a shot which came off a player which went out for Riise with a cross and Murphy headed the ball over the goal. Ljungberg scores a goal passed Dudek after bad defending from the back four then Arsenal got another chance which the keeper picked up.
Arsenal is now looking the better team after scoring the goal. The ball keeps getting passed up and down the field but Liverpool isn’t getting any closer to scoring a goal. The ball got passed through for Riise and had to run half of the pitch before scoring a wonderful goal.
A cross by Gerrard was blocked which went out for a throw, which was played out for an Arsenal throw. Gerrard with a pass in but it went to far for any one catch it. Bergkamp had a shot, which went straight across the face of the goal. Arsenal then got another chance but the ball went wide. The ball was all over the field in the dieing minutes of the game and I think both of the teams deserved the goals but Arsenal had the most chances on the goal and deserved to win.
I hope that Anelka keeps playing as well as he is doing then hopefully we can put in a firm bid for him. I think we could have done better today and I think we need to start winning some games in the Premiership if we want to be top otherwise we won’t do any good.
