I hope that Liverpool can be the champions of the Premiership and in my opinion they can just make it.
We have four games left and we are one point behind Arsenal who have got a game in hand. If Arsenal doesn't win all of their games then we have got a big chance of winning the title.
Although I don't like Manchester United I really do hope that David Beckham can recover in enough time to play Sweden in the group F opener. Sven has picked his England squad well and I am glad to see that he has included four Liverpool players in the squad that will play Paraguay in the friendly on Wednesday.
I feel sorry for Liverpool because they got so far and then they got knocked out in the quarter finals of the Champions League we haven't got that far in quite a while. I feel sorry for them mainly because they have no other competitions to compete in other than the Premiership.
I sometimes used to go and watch the reserve games and I thought that Richie Partridge was a good player. I am happy to hear that he has just extended his contract. I hope in the future that Partridge will become a player in the first team and help Liverpool stay a very good team.
Liverpool won at Sunderland 1-0 and that was thanks to Owen for scoring a wonderful goal. That goal put us up to second in the Premiership and we are in a tight chase behind Arsenal. We are only one point above Man u so really there is a big tight chase for the championship.
At least Gerard Houllier has got something to be happy about as we have just secured a place in the Champions League and hopefully this time we will go even further so fingers crossed.
In the reserve league Liverpool could be better as they are 9th. They have not had a lot of first team players so they have had to give the younger players a chance to know what its like.
The under nineteen's are doing well as they have won their league and are in the national cup which fingers crossed they can win.
