Ablett wants final win

The reserves play their final league game of the season against Newcastle tonight and Ablett wants to finish the season with a win to ensure the Reds don't finish bottom of the league.

"We are looking forward to it and hopefully we can end the season with a victory," the reserve team coach told the club's official website.

"We played very well in the first half against Bolton and then in the second half when we won at Hull City. What we need to do is string that consistency together over 90 minutes which is what we haven't done for the majority of the season.

"I watched highlights of Newcastle's game with Manchester United last week when they drew 1-1. Newcastle scored an outstanding goal and we are expecting a very difficult game.

"It should be a good game of football and hopefully we can finish on a high."
