Adams delighted with Reds point

While a point has done little to aid either side's respective ambitions for the remainder of the season, Adams insists that he was pleased to extend the club's unbeaten run to six matches.

Adams said: "I'm pleased to keep the run going . Liverpool's shape messed us up in the first half, but we sorted it out at half-time. The second-half performance was excellent and over the 90 minutes, I was pleased with the effort of everybody.

"That's a point that not too many people would have given us and now we move on to the next game against Leeds."
