Agger deal close

Rafael Benitez has been after the 21 year old defender for a while and will hope to finally get his man this week when the Brondby Chief Executive returns from his holiday.

Agger is keen to join the Reds who are hopeful of finalising what will be a £5.5m transfer before they face Luton in Saturday's FA Cup third round.
